$64m-rated Man United transfer target agree Personal terms – Not Morata
There is hardly a player in football that would refuse the transfer advances of Manchester United because of the presence of Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho at the helms of the Club.
Man United have been linked with the transfer of a plethora of star players and they have completed only but a deal for Victor Lindolf as their first summer signing. Inter Milan versatile attacking midfielder Ivan Perisic has hinted that a move to Old Trafford is imminent after he agreed personal terms with the Red Devils reports the Independent.
Man United lined up Antoine Griezmann as their transfer prime target but they would not be able to sign the player as he has decided to stay put with the Rojiblancos whose transfer ban by FIFA is upheld. United have turned all their attention to Croatian winger Perisic, who revealed that he’s “desperate and excited” to play under Jose Mourinho, claims the report.
Knowing Mourinho propensity to spend big in the window, Inter Milan are holding out for a £50m ($64m) fee for the player. Considering his age, methinks he’s a tad too expensive for a 28-year-old. However, it is understood that United are willing the meet the valuation of the player.
Perisic was a key player for the San Siro giants last season where he ended 11 Seria A goals and eight assists. He will form a formidable partnership with Alvaro Morata in the attack of United.
