£50m-rated attacker delivers final update on completing Man United move

Hammers forward Marko Arnautovic could be in the Red Devils shirts this summer with rising speculations he’s a primary target for United boss Mourinho.

According to the Daily Star, the 29-year-old Austrian is in Old Trafford’s bucket-list of summer prospects.

His move to United camp took a sudden twist after Mourinho was spotted watching him in action for Austria during a friendly last month, leading many to believe he could be a potential United player next term.

And West Ham have slapped a huge fee on his shirt in the region of £50 million for his suitors.

The former Stoke City man switched to the London stadium for a reported fee of £20 million in July 2017.

However, the Austria international has reiterated that any link tying him to a move to Old Trafford has not yet been confirmed. Nonetheless, he is happy at the Hammers.

He told Sky Sports Austria: “I am happy with my job. Whatever happens will happen. I have never heard anything”

“Even three weeks ago, I haven’t heard anything. That’s why I cannot say anything about it.”

The forward added that he couldn’t say anything about the supposed move and has not been contacted of a new interest from the Manchester club since the spreading gossip.

The Red Devils are believed to be targeting a few other top flyers in the Premier League to add to their ranks, the likes of Spurs Toby Alderweireld after securing Brazilian Fred from Shakhtar Donestk.
