Manchester Clubs seem to be the most busiest in the transfer window even before it is opened. The Citizens have completed a handful of deals while Man United completed one for Victor Lindolf and may have just completed another for Alvaro Morata.
Morata is currently the most talked about Man United transfer target. He was reported to have agreed a deal with the Red Devils with claims that he would have medicals this week. However, reliable Spanish media outlet Marca refused to peddle the rumor maybe for authenticity sake.
The newspaper has subtly revealed that although no agreement as has been reached for his sign on fee, the Spaniard has agreed personal terms with Mourinho’s side – they claims that the player has a agreed a five-year deal and will be on a €22m per year salary. He is also expected to receive an image right fee of €2m and half of the amount will go to a coy associated with him.
His deal will amount to €125m for the period of contract in view (five years), which is a tad colossal for any player. Jose Mourinho has the propensity to be reckless with funds in the transfer market and so, with him, this is a possible offer for the striker.
Should a fee be agreed for the player, he is most likely to be handed the jersey no.9 for Man United. Morata is scheduled to marry on the 17th, he would want the deal done before the date of his nuptials.
