While the fans of Manchester United have given up the hope that Ivan Perisic would be added to their squad before the close of the transfer window, we woke up to reports that the Croatian star is yet interested in a move to the fortress of Old Trafford.
Man United have had up to two bids for Perisic rebuffed by Inter Milan and the player has been offered an improved contract in order to ward off the advances of the Red Devils.
According to reports making the rounds, the agent of Perisic, Fali Ramadani has been spotted at Man United.
The report claims that Ramadani visited Man United to inform them of the recent development regarding his client. He revealed that Perisic has been offered an improved offer and he also quizzed United if they are willing to make another bid for him despite failing in two attempts.
Since the signing of Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, Jose Mourinho has seen transfer activities at Old Trafford stalled but he has reiterated his desire to add at least one more player before the close of the window.
The Red Devils have since turned their attention to Gareth Bale but the price tag of the Wales international is one that has left Man United pondering over, and this could see them reignite their interest in Perisic.
Mourinho is looking to utilise the wings of his team when they set up to play and he is poised to add a winger to the rank of his squad sooner.
