The transfer window is gradually drawing to a close and the speculation over the transfer of players is on the increase.
Welsh star and Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is currently unsettled at his club and he has informed teammate Luca Modric that he wants to join Man United, per reports in Spain.
Bale joined Los Blancos as the most expensive player in the world in a £85.3 million (€100 million) in the summer of 2013. He was an instant hit for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit but the Wales international saw his stock fallen last season as he struggled to dislodge the likes of Isco in the attack, although, injuries affected him.
Despite reinforcing his current squad with three players, Jose Mourinho is poised to go another one better and he has been linked with a move for an attacker. Bale has emerged as a prime target for the Red Devils after their attempt to sign Perisic became unfruitful.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are looking to sign French teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe and if done, it will further affect the chances of Bale starring regularly for the Santiago Bernabeu outfit, stirring speculation of a return to the Premier League.
United are not the only club in the chase of the want away winger, earlier report claims Chelsea have been keeping tabs on the situation of Bale and they have emerged as front runners for his signature.
However, Spanish media outlet Don Balon claims Bale has informed his former partner at Tottenham Modric through a Whatsapp conversation and that he is ready to agree terms to join Jose Mourinho’s side.
Bale is increasingly unhappy with the way he is treated at Madrid, he feels Ronaldo is preferred over him and he knows he’ll be reduced to the fringes if Mbappe joins.
