4-3-3: Sanchez starts, Herrera dropped in probable Man United line-up vs Newcastle

The appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has brought a huge relief to all the fans of Manchester United. The club have won their last three games convincingly, they will be looking to win the fourth when they take on Newcastle United later on.

United were thrashed by Liverpool in early December but the squad has responded positively since Jose Mourinho was sacked. They are now only eight points adrift Chelsea who are occupying fourth place on the table. The Red Devils will be putting pressure on their rivals.

Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez’s Magpies held Wartford to a draw in their last game, he will be hoping to do same against Man United.

Man Utd Injuries

Rashford picked up a groin injury in their last game and he is a major doubt for today’s game.

Alexis Sanchez has returned from a long hamstring injury spell. He will be hoping to prove his doubters wrong and also stake a claim for a place in Solskjaer first team.

Chris Smalling has a foot injury and he has been ruled out of today’s game.
