4-2-3-1: Lukaku benched, Lindelof and Ibrahimovic starts in Man United probable line-up vs Watford

Manchester United narrowly won Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday but Man City’s win over Huddersfield Town 24 hours later meant they are still eight points behind the League leaders.

United travel to Vicarage road to play Watford City later tonight and any result other than a win could end their hopes of putting pressure on Manchester City. The game for tonight has been dubbed as a must win for Jose Mourinho side.

United form in October and November was somewhat poor. However, the Red Devils have been boosted by the return of Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini. Given the quality of player’s at Mourinho’s disposal, they are said to be the only club that can compete with the Citizens for the title.

Man United will travel to London to face Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday and they sure will be exuding so much confidence with the number of players that are fit.

United were without Eric Bailly and Phil Jones in the game against Brighton last weekend. Bailly is expected to be back for the Watford game tonight while Jones is unlikely going to be fit until the weekend.

Rojo played for 90minutes against FC Basel in the Champions League last Wednesday and he could be considered tonight. Ibrahimovic is yet to start a game since his return but given game against Arsenal, Lukaku could be rested tonight.

Carrick is still short of fitness.
