Arsenal take on Chelsea at the Emirates tonight, they will be looking to bounce back from a shambolic defeat to West Ham.
After losing their first two opening games in the League, Arsenal went 22 games unbeaten under Spanish boss Unai Emery. Alas, the North London club have failed to keep up with that form as they have won only two of the last six games in the League.
The Gunners are now level of point with Manchester United in sixth place and they are six points adrift their biggest London rivals. Any result other than a win is likely to see Arsenal drop a place to sixth on the Premier League log.
Unai Emery has revealed that he needs time to build a team of his choice but the fanbase of the club are running out of patience as some of his decisions have affected the team. Arsenal are poised to end the season in fourth place but today’s result will keep that ambition alive or totally quell it.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned to full training after breaking his metatarsal.
Rob Holding (knee) and Danny Welbeck (ankle) have had surgeries, they are not expected to play this season.
Possible Arsenal Starting Line-Up
Emery dropped Ozil from his squad that suffered defeat to West Ham. He attracted heavy criticism for that decision but we are likely to see the ex-Germany international in the line up today.
