4-2-3-1: Lacazette benched, How Arsenal will line-up with Denis Suarez and Ozil

Arsenal are on the brink of signing Barcelona’s Denis Suarez but how will the playmaker fit into Emery’s squad?

The Gunners are one of the highest scoring sides in the Premier League this season. Ironically, they have conceded goals with reckless abandon, with popular opinion suggesting the North London club would sign a top-notch centre-back to fix the debacle we have so far seen.

Alas, while Emery has laid bare the problem in his defence, he has made the signing of Suarez his priority for this window.

Arsenal have lost Danny Welbeck and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to injuries and they look very thin in attack. Although Iwobi and Aubameyang have played in those positions, the latter thrives better as a point man while the former has failed to step up his game.

Naturally a central midfielder, Suarez is adept at taking on opponent and he has thrived in an advanced midfield role. He can as well play from the flank, a position Emery is looking to bolster.

Aaron Ramsey is set to seal a move to Juventus but even though speculations have surrounded the future of Ozil, he has a huge role to play at Arsenal until the end of the season.
