4-2-3-1: How Man United would have lined up with Sanchez and Lukaku against Burnley


Despite moving three points closer to Manchester City on the Premier League log, Manchester United are yet 12 points off the pace on the Premier League log as they head to Turf Moore to face Burnley in the League.

Man United have had a barnstorming 2018 thus far having won three consecutive games without conceding any goal  but the chase of Alexis Sanchez for a move has been the highlight of their year. Mourinho is looking to add firepower to his final third and Sanchez perfectly fits the bill.

A win for United will momentarily move them another three points closer to Man City who will take on Newcastle later. However, the game against Burnley is not expected to be an easy one as the side challenge for a Europa League spot.

MAN UTD INJURY NEWS

Michael Carrick  is said to be back from a lengthy injury spell and he is in contention for the game. He returned to full training early this year and he could be called up to play.

Ibrahimovic is still out with negative effects on his ACL and Eric Bailly remains a long term absentee.

Marouane Fellaini is back to the fold and he’s expected to feature.

United were poised to complete Alexis Sanchez transfer ahead of this game. We take a swipe at how United would have linked up with him.
