4-2-3-1 formation: How Man United will line-up with new signings, Lindolf & Morata

Jose Mourinho would have learnt a great deal of lesson from his failings in the immediate past season. It is often said in football that “attack win games for a team while defense win champions”. Man United had a rock solid defense last term and won three titles but Mourinho must bolster all areas of his team if the Red Devils must remain at the top of their game.

United have already completed a deal for Bosnia star centre-back Victor Lindolf and we are on the cusp on sealing a the second of the summer for Spanish striker Alvaro Morata. These player are expected to join the Red Devils squad for their pre-season tour albeit there are other signings that would be completed when the window is officially opened.

Talks to sign Antoine Griezmann failed as the player personally informed Jose Mourinho why he is not ready for Old Trafford switch. Mourinho is looking to get a flurry of his targets, which includes Fabinho, Andrea Belotti and Ivan Perisic signed as we prepare for the upcoming season.

With the impending changes in the squad, there will be new faces in the team of United and we expect the team for next season to look like this.
