4-1-2-3: Ozil out, Arsenal probable line-up if Ivan Perisic seals move

Arsenal have reached personal terms agreement to sign Ivan Perisic but how will they line-up with the winger?

The Gunners defence is the worse hit with injuries because of the lack of options. However, Emery has prioritised the signing of winger.

Arsenal failed in their bid to sign Denis Suarez from Barcelona but they have now turned their attention to Perisic.

Perisic has handed Inter Milan a transfer request and it appears that he is close to joining Arsenal.

His arrival will certainly change the outlook of Arsenal’s attack – Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are likely going to be playing permanently from bench.

Emery will retain Bernd Leno as his goalkeeper. The return of Laurent Koscielny is a huge boost for Arsenal and he will continue to partner Sokratis at the heart of defence. The centre-back pair will be flanked by Monreal and Maitland Niles.

For the midfield – Xhaka will continue as the holding midfielder and in front of him will be Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi, whose contribution has been insignificant.

Arsenal have played most of their games this season without a plan B for the attack. We think Emery will retain Lacazette as his centre-forward and he’ll be flanked by Aubameyang and Perisic.
