Barcelona summer recruit Malcom has requested Ernesto Valverde to allow him leave the Catalan giants in search of game time elsewhere.
According to reports in Spain, the Brazilian international is unhappy at his current situation at the club. The former Bordeaux man is being monitored by Arsenal, Inter Milan, and Tottenham.
Having moved to Camp Nou in a deal reportedly worth £36.5m in the summer, the attacker has only featured for 25 minutes on the pitch. He is yet to start any game of sort for the LaLiga champions.
Malcom was hijacked by Barca last summer in a last minute recruitment which infuriated AS Roma. A report according to Mundo Deportivo claimed that the Brazilian met with Valverde following the international break to vent his state of mind with the manager as he made it clear he needed to feature more often for the Catalans.
The Barcelona boss made it known to the attacker that he had been doing everything right. However, other players are just ahead of him on merit. Responding to the manager, Malco asked to leave in January if the situation remains.
Having adapted to life well in Spain, the player is well aware that the likes of Spurs and Arsenal are interested in his signature. He is keen to test the waters in England rather than sitting on the bench week-in week-out in Spain.
