Southampton Play host to Chelsea in the Premier League shortly but the Blues may just be playing for pride as Champions League qualification is not beyond their reach any longer.
Chelsea’s draw against West Ham United last weekend saw them slipped 10 points further away from Tottenham who occupy the fourth spot of the Premier League log. Chelsea have only won three Premier League games this year but Conte will be looking to lead his men to their fourth League win of the year.
Chelsea will expect a tough game against Mark Hughes’ led Southampton as the side are currently battling relegation. There are just six games left in the Premier League and today’s game is first of two games between the side, with an FA Cup semi-final fixed for the week ahead.
Antonio Conte has very few injury concerns – Thibaut Courtois has returned to full fitness as he played against West Ham. Pedro Rodriguez came off the bench in the game against West Ham.
David Luiz has been nursing a recurring knee injury he sustained last season and he is not expected to back yet. Davide Zappacosta is also out with a tendon issue.
