Napoli playmaker Jorginho has been tipped with a move to London side Chelsea.
Jorginho, 26, is one of the prized midfield talent in Europe, particularly in the Serie A and attempts to lure him to Manchester City has been thwarted.
City looked like favourites to land the star but saw that 50 million pounds bid for the Brazilian put down by the Naples side.
Now, Chelsea have just joined the race for his services and have managed to add a few thousand pounds to topple City previous bid.
The Blues have handed a 53.2 million pounds bid for the star. But how does he fit in Chelsea’s starting XI.
Maurizio Sarri is expected to wield the helm at Chelsea, which would be a perfect reunion for the midfielder.
With the playmaker within the Blues ranks, and playing at the centre will definitely give the Blues enough teeth to bite the opposition.
Jorginho is good with the ball and partnering with Kante would make a more confident centre.
If replaced with Willian, he could bring more energy to a Chelsea side that somehow managed to slump in the second half of last term going forward.
Nonetheless, Jorginho will make an excellent fit to a Chelsea side that promises to be fully attack-minded, should Maurizio Sarri complete his move to Chelsea this summer.
Chelsea finished fifth last term in the Premier League, but still managed to grab the FA Cup last term.
