3-4-2-1 formation! How Chelsea will line-up with probable new signings, Bakayoko, Sandro and Morata
Antonio Conte is expected to bolster the Squad of the Blues as they prepare to stage a title defense in the Premier League and compete in the UEFA Champions League
Last season, Conte used in essence 14 players from his entire squad with Cesc Fabregas and Willian lacing their boots for the Blues mainly as substitutes.
However, Chelsea are already linked with deals for some star players and should those deals be completed, we might see some new faces in the starting XI of Chelsea.
Bakayoko is heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge with reports claiming that the Premier League Champions are willing to pay 35million pounds to secure the signature of the player.
The 22-year-old French midfielder is expected to form and impenetrable midfield bond with the PFA player of the season N’golo Kante. Bakayoko was a revelation for French Champion Monaco last term and his reported arrival would see Matic depart Stamford Bridge.
There is much talk about Conte informing Diego Costa that he is not wanted in his squad anymore. Although Man United have heavily linked with Alvaro Morata, Chelsea are credited as a destination where the player could end up because of his love for Conte.
Conte is expected to stick with his three man defense but the place of Marcos Alonso is not guaranteed. We think Juventus’ Alex Sandro is on the cusp of joining for a whopping sum and he would slot in the squad immediately.
With the players linked to Chelsea, we think this is how Chelsea’s squad will look like next term.
