£27.5m-rated versatile star ready to complete Man United transfer, sends message to Mourinho

Manchester United and Jose Mourinho has been handed a massive blow after Marouane Fellaini laid bare his desire to leave the club next summer, claims report.

Fellaini is free to negotiate with any club of his choice as he is in the final six months of his current contract. Manchester United had offer him a contract extension for the Belgian outrightly rejected it despite Jose Mourinho plea for him to stay.

The 30-year-old star is currently wanted by a Chinese Club and Paris Saint Germain are also weighing a deal for him at the expiration of his contract in the summer.

The Sun reports this morning that Fellaini has informed Jose Mourinho and the brass of the Red Devils that he will call time on his Man United career at the end of this season.

Fellaini was a regular for Man United during the days of David Moyes and Luis Van Gaal but he Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic are preferred over him at United. Fellaini has been out of action since last year due to a niggling knee injury but he was featured against Derby County in United FA Cup game.

Jose Mourinho has bemoaned the lack of transfer activities at the club and he is poised to bolster his otherwise strong squad. Fellaini is very unpopular among the fans of United and they will not rue his departure from all indications.

He was signed from Everton for £27.5million and he is still valued as such.
