$127m-rated Chelsea target agrees personal terms for Stamford Bridge move, snubs Man United

If reports making the rounds by Starsport is anything to go by, then Chelsea are on the verge of sealing their first summer transfer as Belgium and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed personal terms to return to Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku had the best season in his career last term as he was the second top scorer of the Premier League with 25 goals. He was offered an improved contract by the Toffees but the powerful striker declined the offers of the Merseyside Club because he has set his sight on a bigger with with bigger challenges.

The report claims Lukaku has agreed personal terms with Chelsea and it is believed to be in excess of £150,000. However, the stumbling block to the deal would be the asking price of Everton – Ronald Koeman and his principals are holding for £100m ($127m)for the striker.

Although the Premier League Champions are the front-runners for the signature of the 24-year-old, his agent Mino Raiola has been in contact with Man United and Bayern Munich over a possible move, claims the Sun.

United are also keen on a striker after seeing their offers for Alvaro Morata rebuffed by Champions League holders Real Madrid. Somehow, Chelsea and Man United seem to be attracted to the same players as it is with Morata and Lukaku.

Lukaku was sold to Everton back in the summer of 2014 for £28m.
