Crystal Palace are weighing in on a deal for English and Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck, according to reports.
Despite playing bit-part role for the most part of this season, Welbeck has scored five goals in all competitions this term. He is behind Pierre-Dmery Aubameyang, Alexandr Lacazette and Alex Iwobi in the selection pecking order of Unai Emery.
He arrived Arsenal from Manchester United in the summer of 2014 and he has been unable to establish himself in the first team, during the reign of Arsene Wenger and Emery respectively.
The 27-year-old English star was heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal in the summer but he has stayed put at the Emirates. And now, according to an exclusive reports by the Sun, Crystal Palace will make a £10 million bid for the star in the January transfer window.
Roy Hodgson is looking to reinforce his forward line and he has set his sight on signing the Arsenal forward. He can play anywhere across the forward positions, providing options for the Eagles in attack.
The report further claims Unai Emery may be willing to allow the player leave in January but there is no telling if they would take more than £10m for his transfer.
