Eden Hazard feels reluctant to sign a new contract with his club Chelsea, as he awaits Real Madrid’s offer. According to reports, the Belgian forward hopes the Spanish giants submit an offer for his services.
The Times report that Chelsea are ready to extend his contract with an improved payment which will make him the highest paid player in Chelsea’s history as a result of his constant impressive performances for the club. The contract is set to earn him £300,000 on weekly basis. However, It is reported that the Belgium International will be happy to work with Zinedine Zidane whom he idolised while growing up.
Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid have not been consistent in their performances this term as they hardly score goals regularly, while leaving their net open to opponents. The last season LA Liga Champions will experience difficulty in defending their title as they currently occupy the fourth position in the league.
Thibaut Courtois is another player who is attracting interests from many European clubs including Real Madrid, but it remains to be seen whether Antonio Conte, who sold Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic this summer, would fancy losing the duo to other rivals in Europe. According to Conte during his post-match conference with the press, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois are among his players whose importance cannot be overemphasized.
He believes they are happy at the club and are willing to continue playing at Stamford Bridge.
