After completing a move from Arsenal to Liverpool in a deal worth £35m, Oxlade-Chamberlain told reporters that he is training under a coach who is entirely different from his former coach.
The player who hasn’t lived up to expectations has scored just a single goal for Liverpool in all competition this season but much is still expected of him after the big money move.
While reflecting on his performance for Liverpool since his transfer to the team some months back, Oxlade-Chamberlain believes there are more of what he can do than what fans are currently witnessing.
He went on to speak of Arsene Wenger’s philosophy which is to ensure that players are in possession of the ball
“Arsene (Wenger) is a great manager and he’s proved that for many years. His philosophy and style of play is based on the ‘Arsenal way’ of playing, with his passing game,” he said
He also spoke about Klopp’s demanding philosophy.
“Jurgen (Klopp) is very demanding and he makes it clear to us our roles and responsibilities, and the intensity that he wants out of us.”
Chamberlain 24, believes he has learned a lot from his stay and he is ready to start firing from all cylinder.
“I have learnt a lot and I feel like I’ve adapted well to the requirements of the manager, the coaches and the boys as well,” He said.
He scored 20 goals for Arsenal after playing 198 matches during his 6 years stay at the club, a returned that has been adjudged poor by pundits and fans.
He was left out of the starting XI when Liverpool thumped Southampton in the Premier league but he will continue fighting for his place.
