Arsenal fans have become discontented with the lack of transfer activities at Arsenal. Despite  Arsene Wenger’s promise to bolster his squad this summer, the French tactician has only spent 52million pounds for the signing of Alexandre Lacazette.

Most of the Gunners inactive players are expected to leave but the Arsenal are still struggling to offload them. Nonetheless, Arsenal striker Lucas Perez is nearing a switch to Turkish side Fenerbahce after agreeing personal terms to join the club, according to reports.

Perez joined the Gunners last season full of hopes from La Liga side Deportivo Lacuruna but he has played a bit-part role for Arsenal. Perez featured in only 11 League games and most of his cameos were from the bench.

The 28-year-old striker fell further down the selection pecking order of Arsene Wenger after the signing Lacazette. Perez realised he was no longer fits the plans of Arsene Wenger for the future when his jersey no. was given to Lacazette without informing him and he has revealed that he wants out of the club.

Deportivo had offered  €10m to sign the player but Arsenal rebuffed their offer as it is short of their valuation for him. We understand that the Gunners are holding out for €15m for the star.

However, Fenerbahce are now favorite to sign the player.

“We are in talks with Fenerbahce but Arsene Wenger does not want a loan move,” Lovelle told TurkishFootball.

“Wenger wants €15m for Lucas. He still has another three-years on his contract so Arsenal hold all the cards.

“Fenerbahce, two Spanish teams and a Bundesliga side have made an offer for Lucas.

“Fenerbahce are the most serious and we have been in talks for two months.”
