Saido Mane’s heart warming message to Liverpool fans

A lot of fans and pundits have claimed that Chelsea’s Ngolo Kante is the signing of the season in the Premier League but one African star attacker has consistently inflicted damages against his opposing defenses, and that’s Liverpool Sadio Mane, who stand a chance to be named the signing of the season too.

The skillful winger has been vital to the improvement of Liverpool this term. Combining very well with Brazilian midfield schemer Philippe Coutinho, and using his pace, skills and precision, Mane cannot be said to be second best at Liverpool.

The 25-year-old became banjaxed with a knee injury when the Reds thumped their Merseyside neighbors Everton in a thrilling 3-1 encounter. However, he has successfully undergone a correct surgery and has sent his appreciation to the fans of Liverpool for their well wishes, Per reports.

After completing a  £34m move from Southampton to Liverpool last summer, Mane stamped his authority in the team of the Reds. Of the 27 League games he’s played, 26 of them are starts, where he has also scored 13 goals and provided five assists.

However, he is ruled out of this season but expected back before the start of next season. He was quizzed by Liverpoolfc of his return, and he said:

“It’s great that I have received so many encouraging messages from fans around the world, particularly on social media.

“It makes me proud and gives me so much power that so many supporters of Liverpool FC and Senegal give me such great support. I’d like to say thank you to everyone.

“I will give my very best after yesterday’s successful surgery to be back on the pitch as soon as possible and be even better than before.”

The Mugsmashers are currently third on the Premier League table having played one more game than Manchester City in fourth place and two more than Manchester United in fifth. The Reds will be hoping to break the jinx of not qualifying for the Champions League.
