The Gunners have been put through paces ahead of the second leg Europa League clash against Swedish side Ostersunds and Wales international Aaron Ramsey was spotted in the training, according to reports.
Ramsey put up a man of the match display against Everton in the Premier League a little over a fortnight ago but he picked up a groin injury that has kept him out of action in Arsenal’s last two games.
Certain reports ruled the star out of action on Thursday but the Gunners can now take a deep breath as there are chances that he will be available for the Carabao Cup final game against Manchester City on Sunday. Ramsey has returned to full training with the rest of Arsenal squad.
We think Arsene Wenger will not risk the star against Ostersunds on Thursday and in his stead, Maitland-Nile, Mohamed Elneny or Jack Wilshere could be called up to play.
Arsenal have a massive 3-0 advantage over Ostersunds, and Wenger is expected to grant his first team players rest in order to keep them fresh for the Carabao Cup game with Manchester City.
Welbeck is expected to lead the attack for Arsenal as it is given that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is cup tied and Alexandre Lacazette is injured.
In one of the pictures, you’d notice how high Welbeck jumped. If he could replicate that in matches, he will get us goals with his head.
We bring you photos of the training session at Arsenal’s London base Colney training ground.
