If there is something that is giving the fans of Arsenal any glimmer of hope over their footballing and transfer affairs, it is the presence of of Sven Mislintat, who brokered the deal and signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Mislintat traveled to Gelsenkirchen to watch BvB play against Schalke and this has thrown the fans of Arsenal into a frenzy as the prospect of signing long term transfer target Max Meyer gathers more momentum.

Arsenal have lacked the creativity needed to be able to hold to possession since Santi Cazorla picked up a nasty injury in the October of 2016 and they are already looking to sign a player in his stead, with Meyer tipped to be the best replacement for the aforementioned Spaniard.
Schalke have offered the player a new contract but Arsenal received a huge boost in their pursuit of the player after his agent canceled a meeting with the player over a new deal.
Club president Clemens Tonnies spoke with German outlet Bild, where he revealed that the scheduled meeting with the representative of the player fell through.
“I had an appointment with Max and his advisor, which was cancelled by his agent on short notice,”Tonnies explained.
Arsenal could sign the rising star at the end of the season as a free agent like they did for Sead Kolasinac.
Arsenal are currently lacking a player that can build attack from the back and that is exactly what Meyer will bring to the club.
