Arsenal kicked off their 2017/2018 Premier League campaign with three points after a epic show down with former league Champions Leicester City.  The Gunners new boy Alexandre Lacazette registered his name on the score sheet and he took to twitter after the game to show how delighted he is with the win.

Lacazette put Arsenal in front just immediately after kick-off as he headed home a close range header from Mohamed Elneny’s cross. Soon Arsenal became unconvincing in the game and had to come from behind twice to beat the Foxes in a thrilling encounter.

Lacazette is finally settling down with life in London after joining Arsenal in a record 52million pounds deal. He ended the last two seasons as top scorer for Lyon but pundits have failed to rate him highly. Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane and Alvaro Morata have been tipped for the golden boots award, giving no chance or whatsoever to Lacazette.

There were conflicting reviews of the players performance against Chelsea in the Community Shield last week and he came very close to scoring. However, he continues to prove his mettle and calmness in front of goal.

Arsenal have a knack for losing their League openers  but Alexandre Lacazette must be leaking his lips after the thrilling encounter. However, he has express his gratitude to the fans for their support.
