Arsenal have reportedly been dealt a huge blow after Yassin Fortune turned down a new deal to continuing playing at the Emirates.
The Frenchman turned down a new contract offer at the Emirates and instead accepted a new deal from Swiss outfit FC Sion which would see him move permanently to the club.
After enduring a frustrating campaign last term in the Premier League with Arsenal, including irregular starts and less game time on the pitch, it is understood he wants to render his services elsewhere.
Since joining Arsenal three year ago, he has failed to break the team ranks and couldn’t make a good impression, one that eliminated his chances of making a first-team appearance.
His progress in the club has also been hampered by series of injuries. However, he will not be in the Gunner youth camp next season, after signing permanently to Swiss side FC Sion, as reported by ArsenalYouth.
Arsenal are hoping players the likes of Vlad Dragomir, Josh Dasilva, Tolaji Bola and Deyan Iliev will accept a new contract offered to them and pen down their signatures.
The Gunners are also looking to bolster their first-team following the arrival of Stephan Lichtsteiner and a reportedly agreed deal for Sampdoria youngster Lucas Torreira and Dortmund’s Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
