The fact that Jose Mourinho has failed to win the Premier League title and is likely to miss out on the FA Cup, the only title left to be won this season, he’ll be forced to reinforce his squad for the upcoming season.
According to latest report, Manchester United have made an offer for Brazil and Real Madrid defensive midfielder Casemiro.
Casemiro is easily one of the best central midfielders in the world at the moment – he joined the B team Real Madrid on loan from São Paulo in the January of 2013. He proceeded to Porto on another loan spell in the 2014/15 season after Real Madrid made the deal permanent and on his return, he won a place in the midfield of Los Blancos.
The midfielder has 37 appearances so far this season for Real Madrid and has attracted interest from Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United. According to Sportwitness, Manchester United already have an offer for the player on the table.
Manchester United are expected to sign midfielders in the summer as it is given that there is so much uncertainty over the future of Marouane Fellaini and the immiment retirement of Michael Carrick will make the midfield of the side threadbare.
The report further claims that Casemiro has a €200m buy out clause but it will be difficult for any club to pay out the clause. The Brazilian star wants to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu for the foreseeable future.
