Injuries have adversely affected the Gunners in most of their campaigns but Arsene Wenger will be hoping that all his players stay fit for the busy festive period this term.
Arsenal will host capital rivals Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier league on Sunday and the Gunners have been handed major boost ahead of the game. David Ospina and David Welbeck are reportedly set for a come back against the Lilywhites, per reports.
Welbeck has been out of action since Oct when he sustained a hamstring injury in the Gunners shock defeat to Watford. He missed up to two games at the start of the season with another hip injury.
Welbeck started this season brightly with three goals in six appearances. His return will be a major boost for Arsenal who are going to be without Oliver Giroud – the Frrench star picked up a thigh injury while on duty for the French national team.
Meanwhile, David Ospina has also been on the recovery pane from a grade A groin injury, but the report has further stated that the Columbian shot-stopper is set to return to action after the injury lay-off.
German centre-back Shkodran Mustafi is expected back in action too but there is no update regarding his return but our fingers are crossed, Arsene Wenger will have selection headache for this one.
