Done deal: Man United fans celebrate the arrival of Alexis Sanchez for medical

United fans are currently celebrating Sanchez reported move to Old Trafford with the Chilean’s unofficial scarves. The Red part of Manchester was filled up with unofficial scarves which have the image of Arsenal want-away striker Alexis Sanchez according to Manchester Evening News.

Though the deal is yet to be sealed by both parties, United fans are already in joyous mood ahead of the final process of the deal which is expected to take place on Monday.

According to Mirror Sports, Sanchez was seen yesterday moving out of Arsenal’s hotel room so as to travel to Old Trafford before United match against Burnley larer today.

Unlike Arsene Wenger who has confirmed that the striker will be joining the 20-time Premier League Champions, José Mourinho has refused to confirm the news that the Chilean striker is moving to Old Trafford.

When asked about Sanchez move to Old Trafford, José Mourinho insisted that Sanchez still remains as an Arsenal player while Henrikh Mkhitaryan is still at the theater of dreams preparing for Saturday’s clash with Burnley

“But [it’s] not done, not done at all, so in this moment Mkhitaryan’s our player, Sanchez’s an Arsenal player and with a match today I want to switch off and focus what is the most important thing, which is the match.” he said.

The Portuguese manager believes there is no need denying Sanchez’s imminent arrival to Old Trafford but he insist ‘there is nothing new’ in the transfer negotiations.

“Nothing new, I think clearly everybody knows that we are there and especially when Arsenal’s manager speaks so clearly like he did there is no point in trying to hide or to deny.” he concluded

The Mirror further revealed that the 28-year-old striker is set to undergo his United medical later today and he is expected to sign a four-and-half-year contract with Manchester United on Monday or latest Tuesday afternoon. He will receive £500,000 as his weekly wages according to reports.
