Antonio Conte is currently stunned at the poor form of Chelsea and if he continues as the manager of Club, he will probably be more active in the transfer window than his rival clubs.
Chelsea are favourites to land long term transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly, who is also on the radar of Liverpool and Arsenal, this is according to report.
In the summer of 2014, Koulibaly moved from Genk to Napoli on a five-year deal and since then, he has been a regular feature of the Seria A side.
Chelsea have a long standing interest in the centre-back as they had seen a €58m bid for the player rebuffed in the past. According to Sportwitness via Corriere dello Sport, the Blues will make another move to sign the 26-year-old when the transfer window comes alive in the summer.
Chelsea were heavily involved in the sale of players but despite the signing of Antonio Rudiger, they are yet to sign a player that will step in the shoes of John Terry. David Luiz also lost his place as first choice for the Blues and if Conte continues in the reigns of Chelsea, Luiz might be shown the exit doors of the club.
Chelsea slipped out of top four of the Premier League log and they are now only three points ahead of Arsenal in sixth position. They are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, and this will prompt the signing of top-notch players.
The player is valued at 50,00 Mill. € by Transfermarkt.
