Chelsea are willing to fork out as much as €100m in a bid to sign Atletico Madrid forward Jan Oblak, this is according to report.
The heroics of Oblak in-between the sticks for Atletico Madrid is very well document in the Premier League and the Slovenia international might just end up plying his trade in the English League.
Oblak joined Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014 after an impressive spell in the Portuguese League with Benfica. Since the move, Oblak has remained the number 1 shot-stopper for the Rojiblancos.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the star but according to Sportwitness, Manchester United are also on the race for the player but Chelsea are frontrunners for his signature.
David De Gea has continued to be on the transfer wish list of Real Madrid and should Manchester United agree a move for him, they will slug it out with any club for the signature of Oblak.
Meanwhile, Courtois is also on the list of players Real Madrid are looking to also sign. The Belgian shot-stopper has been dismal in the post of Chelsea, they might consider selling him.
For any club to sign Oblak, they have to fork out as much as €100m but despite the inflated nature of the transfer window, this price is believed to be too outrageous.
Paris saint Germain are also in the running for his signature but we wait to see where he ends up.
