Chelsea have been handed a massive injury boost ahead of their Premier league fixtures against Bournemouth this Saturday.
The Blues manager Antonio Conte has delivered latest injury update regarding his players where he revealed that French midfield destroyer N’golo Kante has made tremendous recovery from an hamstring injury and will be back sooner.
“He’s progressing well. I am very happy because I saw him in a good physical condition. At this moment we have to find the strength to keep calm and find the right moment to put him in the team,” Conte said.
“Now it will be very easy now to tell him to play but we have to find the best solution for him. He is ready.”
Kante was a key player for Leicester City before he joined Chelsea. He replicated the same for the Blues last term and fired them to the Premier league title. His absence has been sorely missed by the League holders as they have struggled in the middle of the pack without him.
Conte also had a fresh leg for their Carabao Cup victory against Everton as Danny Drinkwater made his debut in the colours of the Blues. Speaking after the game,
Conte added: “We will have three games before the international break and to see him fit 100 per cent may be after the international break.
“I can count him in games now. If I decide to play with three midfielders, it’s very important.”
Since he was signed from the Foxes in the summer, Drinkwater had been on the recovery pane but his availability is a massive boost for Conte, who has fervently murmured about the lack of depth in his squad.
