Chelsea key attacker Eden Hazard has revealed that he is not completely fit after returning to first team action a fortnight ago.
Hazard picked up an ankle injury while representing Belgium at the end of last season. He was subjected to an operation back in July and he missed the three of the opening league games for Chelsea.
However, Hazard has played his part in Chelsea’s Chelsea’s last seven games, and he even started in their shock defeat to Manchester City.
He was also called up by the Belgian national team side for their World Cup qualifiers where he played in two games but he revealed that he is not fully fit.
“I missed football for three months, it’s not easy to come back after a big injury,” Hazard said on his recovery.
“But I worked during the summer – I just want to play football.
“I will miss some games, I will play bad for some games. I just want to play football and try to bring the best of me.”
Antonio is already having a chunk of his key players sidelined with injuries but despite Hazard’s claims, he is unlike to be left out of the party when Chelsea take on Crystal Palace this weekend.
Hazard has been key to the recent successes of Chelsea over the years.
