Arsenal have received a major boost in their race for Ajax starlet Justin Kluivert as the player revealed his plan to move to Premier League before the start of next season.
The Dutch impressive winger admitted that he sees himself playing for a Premier League club who could make an interesting offer for his service in the summer transfer window.
The son of former Barcelona player Patrick Kluivert, is being tracked by a host of Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.
The Gunners have been in contact with the player’s agent since last month’s transaction period over a possible switch to the Emirates Stadium, but the player rejected their offer claiming he is not prepared to join Arsenal where there is intense competition for place in Wenger’s starting lineup.
Apart from Arsenal, Manchester United are also considering making an offer for the Netherlands Under-21 player in the summer. Mourinho is reportedly in need of a right and left winger, and he could move for the pacy winger who could comfortably operate from both flanks.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola who was Patrick Kluivert’s teammate while playing for Barcelona might explore his relationship with the player’s father in convincing Kluivert to switch to the Etihad stadium.
The youngster is, therefore, full of options, and the Gunners need to be fast in their approach.
