Alexis Sanchez agrees personal terms to join Man United, £35m deal announcement imminent

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed personal terms to join Manchester United in a what has been termed a nightmare transfer for the fans of Arsenal.

Sanchez has rebuffed contract extension offers from Arsenal since last summer and he had revealed that he wants to win the Champions League, a feat he might never achieve with Arsene Wenger at the helms of Arsenal.

The 29-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain and Manchester City last summer but Arsenal did not allow him as they failed to sign a replacement for him. City were thought to be in pole position for the deal but they have offered a meagre  £20m only.

Man United were never on the list of suitors for the Chile International but reports exclusive available to GFN reveals that the player has agreed personal terms to switch the Emirates for Old Trafford. According to the report, United are willing to pay Arsenal their  £35m for the star.

Sanchez was left out of the Gunners squad that face Bournemouth and the only reason he would have been dropped from the squad was in a bid to complete his transfer. Arsenal have been linked with several players as probable replacement for Sanchez and there are indications that the club have advanced talks to sign Malcom.

The fans of Arsenal will undoubtedly be disappointed at the current state of the club. Despite claims of a hefty transfer kitty, Arsenal have sold more players than they have signed last season.
