There is currently no love lost between Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, as it is given that the aforementioned managers are a tad attracted to the same players in this transfer window.

Romelu Lukaku was thought to be heading to Stamford Bridge with Alvaro Morata heavily linked with a Man United move but the Red Devils shockingly usurped the Blues to the signature of Lukaku, leaving Morata to move the opposite direction.

As Antonio Conte continues with revamping his title winning side, he’s left his key midfielder Nemanja Matic to sort out his future. Matic is currently training alone but he has been a subject of heavy transfer speculation from Juventus but the player is keen on linking up with his former manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.

Nemanja Matic has now been granted his wish by Chelsea to talk to Man United over a possible transfer, reports the Sun.

Matic fell out of the plans of Conte following the signing of French central midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko. The Serbian international was vital to Chelsea’s conquest of the Premier League but in Bakayoko, Conte has identified a more creative midfield partner for N’golo Kante.

Matic’s representative was allowed to speak with Juventus but the Old Lady are unwilling to meet Chelsea’s asking price. However, the report by the Sun has stated that Abramovic has sanctioned a Man United move for Matic but his price has been perked at £50million.

United have stalled over the asking price of Ivan Perisic. There is no telling if they will agree to fork out as much as  £50m for Matic.
