Arsenal play Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley but the Gunners will be psyched up to play as though it is a neutral ground. Arsenal have made the Wembley a fortress as they have won three FA Cups in the last four years in the same ground and they will be hoping to getting the better of City rivals Tottenham today.
Arsenal thumped Tottenham in the reversed fixture back in November with goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez but they have failed to put up good display away from home this term.
The Gunners are currently four points adrift of Tottenham on the Premier League log and a win will boost their chances of ending the season in top four places, which is the main target for the Emirates Stadium owners.
ARSENAL INJURY NEWS
Danny Welbeck has returned to first team training but he is short of fitness and has been ruled out of this one.
Monreal is back and will be in action while Petr Cech has trained but he is unlikely going to play.
“We had a few problems with Cech, who we are not sure about at the moment because he’s not trained. I don’t know if he will be available. Monreal looks alright again. It should be a similar squad.”
Although Wenger has claimed that it will be the same squad, Jack Wilshere who has been impressive should take the place of Xhaka, whose contribution is insignificant these days.
