Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Steven N’Zonzi who plays for Sevilla. There have been speculations over the 29-year-old’s future at the Spanish League club after the Frenchman angrily left the pitch after being subbed off in a Champions League fixture against Liverpool which ended in a 3-3 draw last week.
The France International midfielder who once played in the Premier League for Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers might be tempted to return back to England with Arsenal currently showing their interest.
He is being monitored by the North London club since the last summer transfer market. Arsenal are reportedly going to pay the sum of £35million in his release clause if they must get the player as soon as January transfer window.
Steven N’Zonzi, who joined Sevilla from Stoke City in 2015, has scored five goals in 61 appearances for Sevilla. It was believed that the player is not happy at the club and he might be open to any transfer away from Sevilla in January or during next year’s summer transfer market.
In another Arsenal transfer news, Arsene Wenger has reaffirmed that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez won’t be leaving the club in January. According to him, the players are happy at the club and they are not ready to go despite their contract saga.
