Manchester United may have been handed a huge blow in their pursuit of Spain born Lazio midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, after the player revealed that he isnt distracted by reports linking him to United.

The 22-year-old was recently watched by United scouts during Lazio’s matches in Serie A fixtures but the midfielder has confirmed his desire to remain at Lazio and continue his steady rise to fame in the game.
While speaking to Mediaset Premium, Milinkovic-Savic said he’s happy while playing for Lazio and he is niether thinking of the people at the stands nor scouts who are taking note of his display in the Lazio jersey. “I play for Lazio and I am Happy here,” he said
Marouane Fellaini is said to be leaving Old Trafford at the end of the season and Michael Carrick might retire at the end of the season due to health challenges. This means that the 22-year-old can easily break into Mourinho’s starting XI.
Savic’s agent Mateja Kelman confirmed to newsmen last month that United are in contact with his client over a move to Old Trafford. He also reiterated that the Serbian is not for sale irrespective of any monetary value in United’s offer.
The 22-year-old Serbian international joined Lazio On 31 July 2015, but couldn’t make his debut for the team until the 18th of August when he featured against Bayern Leverkusen in the Champions League play-offs first leg fixture.
He has featured in 82 matches, scoring 14 goals in all competitions since he joined the Italian League giants
